An angle ring is used in connection with cylindrical roller bearings and is therefore an important component in drive technology. Since one of the most important tasks of angle rings is to absorb so-called axial loads in both directions, these workpieces are primarily required for designs in the NJ category. Here, the angle rings guide the shaft axially in both directions. If, on the other hand, they should only accommodate the axial guides in one direction or guide the shaft in one direction, NU type angle rings are used. An HJ design angle ring can be installed together with NJ or NU design bearings. A bearing of the NU design with an angle ring HJ can accommodate axial loads in one direction. This means that the wave is guided in one direction. Thanks to our modern machines, we are also able to manufacture angle rings of the HJ design, which, together with a bearing of the NJ design, form a so-called fixed bearing that is able to guide the shaft axially in both directions. The angle rings of the HJ design are intended for installation together with the cylindrical roller bearings of the NU or NJ design in order to be able to guide the shaft axially in one or both directions. There are several reasons for their use: bearings of the NJ or NUP design are not available, the seating area of the shortened inner ring of NUP bearings with a loose flanged wheel is too small to achieve a sufficiently secure bearing seat under high loads, simplification of the design of the Storage, but in particular the installation and removal of the bearings. Angle rings are required in connection with cylindrical roller bearings. In order to be able to accommodate axial guides in both directions, angle rings for bearing types NJ are required. Angle rings with NU type cylindrical roller bearings are used to accommodate axial guides in one direction. Floating bearings NU can be combined with an angle ring HJ to form a support bearing unit. They must not be installed with two angle rings (risk of pinching). Angle rings are advantageous when the seating area of the inner ring of NUP bearings with a loose flange is too small for a sufficiently high bearing seat under high loads. In some applications, they also make it easier to install and remove bearings. Support bearings NJ can be combined with an angle ring HJ to form a fixed bearing unit. This version has two flanges on the outer ring, one flange on the inner ring and an angle ring for the flangeless side of the inner ring. The angle rings suitable for the bearings are specified in the dimension tables. Bearing and angle ring must be ordered separately.
