Single row radial cylindrical roller bearings with a cage are units consisting of solid outer and inner rings and cylindrical roller and cage assemblies. The outer rings have fixed ribs on both sides or are without ribs, the inner rings have one or two fixed ribs or are designed without ribs. The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers from touching each other when rolling. The cage bearings are very stiff, can withstand high radial loads and are suitable for higher speeds than full complement bearings. Bearings with the suffix E have a reinforced roller set and are therefore designed for the highest load carrying capacity. The bearings can be dismantled and are therefore easier to install and remove. This allows both bearing rings to have a tight fit. Single-row cylindrical roller bearings with a cage are available as floating bearings, support bearings and fixed bearings. Numerous sizes are supplied in the X-life version. These bearings are marked in the dimension tables. Bearings with X-life quality, for example, have a lower roughness Ra and better shape accuracy of the raceways than comparable designs without X-life. Radial cylindrical roller bearings are supplied without seals, they are lubricated from the end faces with grease or oil. Cylindrical roller bearings NU and N are floating bearings and only absorb radial forces. In the NU series, the outer ring has two ribs, the inner ring has no ribs. Bearings N have two ribs on the inner ring and one outer ring without ribs. Outer and inner ring are around the value ? can be moved axially against each other from the central position. Radial cylindrical roller bearings NJ are support bearings. In addition to high radial forces, support bearings also absorb axial forces in one direction and can therefore guide shafts axially in one direction. In the other direction they act as floating bearings. The bearings have two ribs on the outer ring and one rib on the inner ring. Floating bearings NU can be combined with an angle ring HJ to form a support bearing unit. They must not be installed with two angle rings (risk of pinching). Radial cylindrical roller bearings NUP and NJ with HJ are fixed bearings. In addition to high radial forces, they also absorb axial forces in both directions and can guide shafts axially in both directions. The NUP version has two flanges on the outer ring and one fixed flange on the inner ring, opposite is a loose flanged wheel. Support bearings NJ can be combined with an angle ring HJ to form a fixed bearing unit. This version has two flanges on the outer ring, one flange on the inner ring and an angle ring for the flangeless side of the inner ring. The angle rings suitable for the bearings are specified in the dimension tables. Bearing and angle ring must be ordered separately. Angular rings are advantageous when the seat surface of the inner ring of NUP bearings with a loose flanged disc is too small for a sufficiently high bearing seat under high loads. In some applications, they also make it easier to install and remove bearings. Single row cylindrical roller bearings with a cage can be used at operating temperatures from -30 °C to +150 °C. For continuous operating temperatures above +120 °C, please contact us. Bearings with a plastic cage (suffix TVP2) are suitable up to +120 °C.
