Withdrawal sleeves are suitable when bearings with a tapered bore are to be mounted on cylindrical shafts. The tapered sleeve is pressed into the bearing bore until the necessary reduction in radial internal clearance is achieved. The bearing is supported, for example, against a shaft shoulder. Safety elements are not included in the scope of delivery. The tensile strength of the material is at least 430 N/mm2. The lateral surface of the slotted steel sleeves has a taper of 1:12, with the series AH240 and AH241 the taper is 1:30. Withdrawal sleeves are suitable for locating bearings with a tapered bore on stepped shafts with a cylindrical seat. The withdrawal sleeve is pressed into the bearing bore with the bearing resting against a fixed support such as a shaft shoulder and fitted with a lock nut or end washer on the shaft secured. Due to the friction in the mating surfaces between the bearing, sleeve and shaft, high assembly forces are required to press the withdrawal sleeve into the bearing bore, especially in the case of larger bearings. The mounting and dismounting of bearings on withdrawal sleeves can be made much easier by using hydraulic nuts. Withdrawal sleeves are suitable for mounting bearings with a tapered bore on stepped shafts with a cylindrical seat. Bearings on withdrawal sleeves must be secured against a firm contact, e.g. B. shaft paragraph, are installed. After pressing the withdrawal sleeve into the bearing bore, secure it on the shaft with an end plate. Due to the high assembly forces with larger bearings, the installation and removal of these bearings can be made much easier by using hydraulic nuts. The dimension for the bore diameter is within tolerance zone JS9 and for the width within tolerance zone h13.
