Axial cylindrical roller bearings

Axial cylindrical roller bearings consist of axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies K, housing washers GS and shaft washers WS. They have a particularly low axial overall height, have a high load-bearing capacity, are very rigid and absorb axial forces in one direction. Axial cylindrical roller bearings and axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies can be used at operating temperatures from -20°C to +120°C. The standard versions of the cages are brass cages (M) and plastic cages (TV). Cylindrical roller bearings are designed to withstand high axial loads and shock loads, but must not be subjected to radial loads. The needle rollers are designed with slightly crowned surface lines towards the ends, which allows for a modified linear contact between the raceways and the needle rollers. This end profiling avoids damaging edge stresses and extends the service life of the bearing.
