Flange housing loose
Clamping housings can be moved or pivoted. They are used when shafts have to move long distances. Housings come in many different variations. Housing units are available as pillow block, flanged and take-up housing units in many different designs. The units are ready for assembly and consist of gray cast iron or sheet steel housings with integrated INA insert bearings. In order to ensure function and safety under all operating conditions, the bearing and housing are matched to one another. Due to the spherical lateral surface of the bearing outer ring and the concave housing bore, housing units compensate for static misalignments of the shaft.
